Bennetto Natural Foods Co. began in 2010, when Lucy Bennetto started making raw cacao chocolate as a healthier treat. She soon became passionate about the art and science of chocolate making; learning about the true benefits of quality dark chocolate, and most importantly, the implications of ethical sourcing. In 2011, Lucy made her first trip to the Dominican Republic to understand firsthand the ‘ins and outs’ of the sustainable cocoa supply chain. The result? A myriad of new, high quality dark chocolate recipes - including the Bennetto Drinking Chocolate – an organic, sustainably sourced, premium quality, dark drinking chocolate bar, crafted especially to dissolve into hot milk.
